Whilst agriculture deals with the scientific cultivation of crops and the rearing of farm animals for man use and the disposal of these products through marketing, farming on the other hand is the skills of cultivating crops and rearing animals for man use.
Basically, the main difference between agriculture and farming is that whilst agriculture deals with both on-farm and off-farm activities. Farming only concerns itself with on-farm activities.

This is the field of agriculture that covers all the other branches of agriculture that are directly involved In an on-farm production activities such as rearing animals and cultivation crops.
What Is Agriculture: Agriculture Profession
This, on the other hand, is the field of agriculture that covers all the other branches that are not directly involved in on-farm activities. Examples of agriculture professions include agriculture extension services, agricultural researches, teaching, etc.
