The Setting
The wasteland has evolved. Commerce Militia holds five critical strongholds but their grip fractures. Red Raiders regroup from the shadows. The Church of the Sea rises as a new power. Survivors forge their own path. Coming off their Summer Reign victory and the construction of the Water Purifier, the Commerce Militia expanded massively — building FIVE key infrastructure locations across the map: The Bank, the Water Purifier (carried over from Summer Reign), The Hospital, The Radio Tower (used for propaganda and communications), and an Oil facility. Under President-General Minkus they were doing what they promised — rebuilding society through trade, infrastructure, and control. The opposition was fractured: the Red Raiders were weakened, beaten up for years into a small and scrappy remnant; Dolphin Dave emerged as a cult leader, founding the Church of the Sea and fighting for his dolphin beliefs with a small but passionate following; and the Survivors were scattered tribes — more freedom-oriented, less organized, lacking structure. Beneath it all, rumors began to spread that President-General Minkus was corrupt.

Battle Recap
Five Strongholds, One Regime
Commerce Militia entered Arctic Reign 2 with the Water Purifier already in hand from Summer Reign and spent the event building out four more pillars of control: The Bank (money), The Hospital (who lives), The Radio Tower (propaganda and comms), and an Oil facility (power and fuel). Five key infrastructure points, all defended, all feeding each other. No faction had ever locked down the map this hard.
A Weakened Opposition
The Red Raiders were a shadow of their former selves — beaten up for years, small, scrappy, nowhere near their old strength. Dolphin Dave rose as a cult leader with the Church of the Sea, preaching his dolphin gospel to a small but passionate following. The Survivors were scattered tribes, freedom-oriented but disorganized. Every other faction tried to challenge Commerce Militia, and every challenge broke against the stronghold network.
Rumors in the Wasteland
As the Commerce Militia tightened its grip, whispers spread through the bazaar, the cells, the churches. President-General Minkus was corrupt. Where was all that money really going? Why were the Red Raiders still armed at all? Players started asking questions the regime couldn’t answer.
The First Main Mission — The Weapons Shipment
During the first main mission, a weapons shipment surfaced with a direct connection to the Red Raiders. Lt. Dave — Minkus’s right-hand man — pulled the thread back through Commerce Militia records and found an invoice. On that invoice, in Minkus’s own handwriting, was his signature. The President-General had been secretly arming the very enemies his militia was sent to destroy.
TOTAL BATTLEFIELD DOMINANCE
On the field itself, there was no contest. The Commerce Militia crushed the Church of the Sea, put the Red Raiders down for good, and absorbed or neutralized every remaining survivor. The scoreboard said victory. The wasteland said they had won. But Lt. Dave was carrying a piece of paper that would undo all of it.

The Corruption Beneath

COMMERCE MILITIA — VICTORY STAINED IN BLOOD
The Betrayal
At the end of Arctic Reign 2, during the prize giveaway ceremony in front of the ENTIRE player base, the war wasn’t over — it was just beginning. What happened next fractured the wasteland.
The Invoice
During the first main mission, a weapons shipment had surfaced with a direct connection to the Red Raiders. Lt. Dave, Minkus’s right-hand man, pulled the thread back and discovered an invoice buried in Commerce Militia records — signed by President-General Minkus himself. Minkus had been secretly dealing weapons to the Red Raiders all along.
The Public Reveal
At the prize giveaway ceremony, in front of every player in the event, Lt. Dave stood up and revealed the invoice on paper. He held the evidence high. He named the corruption out loud. He showed the entire wasteland that their leader was a criminal.
“You’re Fired.”
Exposed in front of everyone, President-General Minkus didn’t argue. He didn’t explain. He fired Lt. Dave on the spot — stripping him of rank, stripping him of status, in front of the entire player base.
THE MURDER
Then Minkus drew a blade and stabbed Lt. Dave to death. Right there. At the ceremony. In front of the entire wasteland. Lt. Dave died a hero trying to hold his leader accountable. Minkus revealed his true nature — a tyrant willing to murder his own people to hold power.
The illusion of Commerce Militia as righteous leaders shattered the moment the blade came out. Minkus now rules alone — sole authoritarian, no second-in-command, no check on his power. From the ashes of that ceremony, the Calverton Communist Party rose in response. Summer Reign 2 is the answer to Arctic Reign 2. Tyranny versus revolution. It begins because Lt. Dave told the truth.
Lt. Dave is dead.
The revolution begins.
