Retreated to fortified bunkers known as Old Testament Vaults, chief among them Vault Aegis. Shadowy, highly organized, and ruthless. They retain knowledge of old systems, encrypted intelligence, and remnants of pre-fall command networks. Defensive, secretive, and unpredictable. They believe only a select few are fit to rule. Connected to the Doomsday Lake origin story — their Operation Reclamation team discovered Silo Echo-9, an abandoned ICBM site. During reactivation attempts, the warhead destabilized and exploded, collapsing underground caverns and creating the radioactive crater lake.
